Collaborative mathematics learning management: Critical thinking skills in problem solving

<span lang="EN-US">This qualitative-ethnography study described the critical thinking skill based on indicators of interpretation, analysis, evaluation, and inference in solving mathematical problem. The subjects were headmaster, math teachers, ninth grade students a public junior high school academic year 2020/2021. data collected through observation, field notes, interview, documentation. Triangulation sources technique used to ensure validation this research. Data analysis was done inductively with continuous process along collection. results showed initial skills mathematics become basic need for developing interpretation. improvement indicator interpretation is accustomed problem-based learning. Critical cultivated collaborative In indicator, special attention from teacher. There always possibility every student each level face difficulties some problems without collaborating others. teachers can make more effort optimize students’ holistic line their knowledge experience order improve inference. should guide skills.</span>
